  2. Log in to the new user account.
  3. Open your Time Machine folder using Finder.
  4. Double-click on the Backups.backupdb folder.

  5. Double-click on your old Mac folder.

  7. Double-click on Macintosh HD.

  8. Select the folder that stores the files you want to recover, like Applications, Library, System, or Users.
