Weapon damage is applied after defence calculations though, and at least for bosses you will most likely only need to take weapon damage and final damage stats in to account. Since we don't know any monsters stats the complete benefit must be calculated from mob to mob, by analysing dmg done. But the worst case would be 1. Some of the whales have elite/boss dmg weapons upgraded aswell. They usually pump it for the special substats, cause can go up to 50% elite/boss dmg, which is way more dmg than any rare weapon can do. And also much easier to Limit break and pump substat. After testing every fid against a similarly tiered,(easier to obtain) counterpart; I believe that the Crystalized Staff needs to be one handed in order to truly make the jump from demon staff to Fid worth it over say, crafting a knight fid simply because a knight fid would result in much bigger playmakers on your side.
